Make 2017 Your Best Year Yet!

Make 2017 Your Best Year Yet!

TempsPlus would like to encourage you to make 2017 your best year yet!  For many people, 2016 seemed like a big learning year, that may have come with some challenges.  So, we encourage you to utilize the lessons from 2016 and make 2017 Your Year.  So, let’s say goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017!

Here a couple of suggestions on how to make 2017 your best.  Try to live life with more INTENTION.  For many of us, our lives are so busy, and we may literally fly by the seat of our pants when it comes to getting things done or making plans.  Try to shift this mentality and intentionally plan out your days, weeks, and months.  Plan what you will do tomorrow, tonight.  You may find the more organized you are, the more you will get done.  Not only that, but if you plan your goals into your daily schedule, as well, you will accomplish more of your goals.  Don’t forget to plan a little vacation time into your year, as well.

Second, create a vision board to encompass all of the things that you want to accomplish this year.  Sometimes putting your vision into picture format helps sink it in to your sub consciousness and may help you take daily steps toward obtaining your goals for the year.

Third, try to make reading a habit.  I ran across an interesting article by Vincent Carlos (https://vincentcarlos.com/about/).  Here are a couple interesting tidbits that I gathered: Did you know that Warren Buffett reads eight hours a day?  Buffett says, “The more you learn, the more you earn.”  Did you know that the average CEO reads one book a week?  That’s 50+ books a week.  Bill Gates actually takes reading vacations for weeks at a time.  The point being that the more you learn on your off time, the more you can apply those things while working.  It may just be the extra nudge to help push your career into a new realm!

We wish you the best in making 2017 Your Best Year Yet!
