Very excellent Agency. I highly recommend them if you are starting back up into New Homes Sales or new to the Industry. I took 8 years off to be a housewife, raising my kids. Finally started back into this field last month. The Staff at TempsPlus are so amazing. Always finding me assignments everyday. I can accept it or refuse it depending how far the drive it. They are so understanding and a very Organized Company.
Trying to start a career in New Home sales is very difficult. It’s a small segment of the industry and they look for experienced individuals specifically. TempsPlus is a way to gain that experience and get paid while you do so. The pay isn’t much, but what you gain is insight into an industry and an opportunity to increase your network of contacts. As far as the company is concerned, Carol Shaw, the scheduling staff, and of course the Payroll dept. 🙂 are first rate!! They got me an assignment a few days after I signed up and do their best to get you consistent work. If you are lucky you can get an on-going assignment and if you make a great impression with the builder, it increases your chance of obtaining a permanent position. Basically, New Home sales has a very low turn rate but they do hire. If you show that you can be counted on, have the necessary experience and a great attitude, TempsPlus will be your best advocate.
Get paid, manage your schedule & you can find a better opportunity!! I enjoyed working with TempsPlus, because their professional personnel, and I get to meet nice people. I have gained valuable experience working with some wonderful companies as a temp. They help you get your foot in the door. Friendly co-workers, communicate well with others, be productive, meet professionals new home consultants as they are willing to give you a hand, learned different skills and knowledge, weekly.
I want to give you in writing my official notice of my new hire with Legacy Homes. That after almost 2 amazing years with TempsPlus, I am leaving. I want you to know, as happy as I am to be going to a wonderful company, such as Legacy Homes, it is only because of you, David, and your awesome staff, that I stayed committed to Temps Plus.
I can not thank you enough, for the very, hearfelt support you always showed me. I know you moved mountains to help me find work and keep me busy. Not only did you go out of your way, but you kept me where I requested when I needed that the most. You were always good to me that way. From the time I signed up with Temps Plus in April 2014 to December 2014; again January 2016 until now, Carol believed in me and always had my back. She is the best! She will work hard and long to find the right Home Builder for you. When the time is right, it will happen to you! In saying that, you must be your best, work hard and be a professional. Do your job! Do not give up, it is worth it!
When I applied for Temps Plus, Inc., I had no new home builder experience. They provided plenty of online training material that covered many different topics. They gave me assignments with various new home builders which gave me a chance to do daily tasks that the agents may have requested, which I personally think is the best way to learn. Because of Temps Plus, Inc., I have a dream career with a GREAT company. Without Temps Plus, Inc., I would have never gotten the opportunity! I would also like to personally thank Ken Post and Marcia Volpe for always being so encouraging through out this journey, you guys rock!
