We’re hiring Maintenance Technicians and Porters for reputable apartment communities throughout Orlando and Central Florida. If you’re dependable, hardworking, and ready to build a career in property management, we want to hear from you.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
• Perform preventative maintenance on apartment homes and community areas
• Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally
• Prepare apartments for move-ins (turns, inspections, repairs)
• Repair and install major appliances
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and carpentry
• Assist with landscaping and exterior maintenance as needed
• Maintain tools, shop, and storage areas in an organized manner
• Communicate effectively with residents and management
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
• Prior apartment or building maintenance experience (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• HVAC certification a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Strong communication skills (reading and writing in English)
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation
• Own basic hand tools (a plus, not required)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Porter Responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness of the community: breezeways, stairwells, sidewalks, and common areas
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
• Assist with trash and dumpster areas
• Clean amenities such as clubhouse, pool areas, laundry rooms, and fitness centers
• Prepare apartments for move-ins (light cleaning, trash-outs)
• Assist the maintenance team as needed
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to management
• Help maintain curb appeal and a positive first impression for residents and prospects
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
• Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation
• Punctual and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Prior porter, janitorial, or groundskeeping experience a plus (not required)
